Workshop Description: Crafting Giant Lanterns for Illuminate the Night

Join us for an inspiring series of workshops dedicated to the creation of a series of giant lanterns that will be showcased at the  Spark Arts: Illuminate the Night Event  during the Orange Winter Fire Festival. 

Workshop Overview:

These hands-on sessions will guide you through the intricate process of constructing and illuminating large lanterns. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a spectacular community art project.

• Get hands-on experience in building the lantern structure and applying paper coverings.

• Learn techniques for creating smooth, vibrant, and weather-resistant surfaces.

The completed Lanterns will be auctioned off at Spark Arts Event, on Saturday August 10 to raise funds for Orange Regional Conservatorium Recording Studio.

Materials Provided: All necessary materials and tools will be provided.
